‘Algunes Possibles Giocondas’ @ Konvent


Aprofitant que també es presenta Cecilismus de Miroir Noir al Konvent, i que va de reinventar, o més aviat rebentar els clàssics-clàssics, els del Prado i del Louvre, aprofitaré per portar-hi unes quantes Giocondes que tinc guardades, i que per fi he trobat l’excusa ideal per presentar-les en públic.  
Les tinc des d'una encesa que vaig tenir fa anys que me'n va fer pintar moltes i molt seguides, en un intent ingenu de desxifrar el misteri del quadre més famós del món.  
El gros de la col·lecció havia quedat al magatzem, i només dues de les que venen al Konvent s’han exposat algun cop (a la Galeria Strychnin de Berlin en una col·lectiva temàtica de Mona Lises, amb Mark Ryden i d’altres pintors americans). 
La Gioconda més que un clàssic és una icona. Com bé sabia Andy Wharol, a les icones t’hi pots recolzar tranquil·lament, perquè elles soles ja posen a tothom a lloc. Com el Konvent, clar. Aquí, podeu anar a una galeria del FB amb les Mona Lises que aniran a Berga.

As we're also featuring Miroir Noir's Cecilismus in Konvent, and as the spirit is reinventing, or rather busting the classics-classics, those in Louvre or the Prado, I'll take a few Giocondes that I have saved, after I've finally found the perfect excuse to present them in public. I still got from a power-up that I had years ago, when I did paint obsesively many of them, in a very naïve attempt to decipher the mystery of the world's most famous painting. Those Giocondas in Konvent have not been shown ever, except for two of them that were at Strychnin Gallery Berlin in a Mona Lisa themed group-show, with Mark Ryden and other American painters.
